One Inc (Folsom, Calif.), a provider of a digital payments network and solutions for the insurance industry, has announced its partnership with Ogon Consulting (San Jose, Calif.), an IT consultancy to the insurance industry. The partnership follows a successful joint implementation of ClaimsPay with The Philadelphia Contributionship (TPC), a Pennsylvania-based property and casualty insurer that can now distribute claims payments faster, with improved customer experience and lower costs, according to a One Inc statement. Ogon Consulting, which is focused exclusively on insurance technology transformation, provides technology consulting and delivery services related to commercial-off-the-shelf platforms for P&C carriers.

One Inc reports that in 2021, The Philadelphia Contributionship, the nation’s oldest property/casualty carrier, founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1752, engaged Ogon Consulting for technical and business process expertise. Ogon was tasked to identify ways to augment TPC’s claim processing experience and selected One Inc’s claim payment technology as the solution. Following a successful implementation, and using TPC as a proof of concept, the partners agreed to further extend their relationship given their mutual efforts serving regional carriers and diverse use cases.

“Ogon has quickly become one of the most respected IT consultancies in our industry, an ascent we can attribute to working with tremendous technology providers like One Inc,” comments Ankur Jaiswal, co-founder and Director of Client Engagement, Ogon. “Our transformational project with the Contributionship is testament to a highly-productive working relationship, one that we believe can continue to be reapplied with carriers in this segment around the country. We look forward to that future work with everyone at One Inc.”

Knowledge, Practical Expertise and Technology

When the Philadelphia Contributionship approached Ogon, the carrier’s two top priorities for its digital claims workflow were effectiveness and rapid deployment, according to Ben Cartafalsa, Director of IT Project Management, The Philadelphia Contributionship. “In tandem One Inc and Ogon each delivered, and having two world-class teams with deep insurance knowledge, practical expertise and best-in-class technology, has given us the confidence to fully embrace this new solution and continue innovating.”

“As One Inc has scaled our business, we’ve become increasingly passionate about engaging external onboarding platforms and consultancy partners throughout the industry, bringing them into our network to ensure we can speed time to market for client implementations,” said Ian Drysdale, CEO, One Inc. “We believe this collaborative approach is the future of enterprise InsurTech and could not be more pleased to work with Ogon following our successful implementation with TPC."
